Hi from Albuquerque, NM! Casey Optical Co. is a 65 year-old established independent private practice in the metro area, and we’re proud to be the 4th generation owners! We have 2 locations, with one full-time doctor for both. As you can imagine, we are optimistically seeking another O.D. to help support the potential growth and expansion for both locations. We welcome new graduates, and are open to training and support for medically-oriented cases. Our focus is primary care exams for glasses and contacts, with the latest instruments including Ziess i.profiler auto ret/k’s/topo, Neurolens, and Optos California.  We also service more chronic medical eyecare with Adapt Dx, Zeiss OCT-A, Visual fields, Diopsys ERG, and Lipaflow.  There is opportunity for you to bring on a favorite specialty, whether it be pediatrics, specialty lenses, myopia management, or vision therapy. Dr. Christine Kniffen, the owner, is very open to a creative schedule for you.  She’ll work around parenting obligations, lifestyle, or other local optometry job commitments for part-time employment.
