Job Description
Optometrist needed to join well established practice in Hollywood CA. The practice has been in existence since 1953 and we moved to our new locaton back in 2014 from Hollywood Boulevard to Sunset Boulevard. Dr Ordonez has been the primary doctor since 1999.
Our practices is mostly primary care optometry including exams for glasses, contact lenses, and Lasik consulations. Our practice has a Optovue OCT, Matrix Visual Field, Reichert Autorefractor, Keeler Pulsair Desktop tonometer, and Centervue DRS Plus Retinal screening.
Pre-testing is performed by technicians with a patient flow of 2-3 patients per hour. Pretesting includes autofractor, non contact tonometry, screening visual fields and optional retinal screenings.
Candidate needs to be friendly and personable Doctor of Optometry. TPA licensed and VSP eligible preferred.
Position is for Thursday and Fridays 10-6pm with 1 hour lunch from 12-1pm. Per diem is $500 per day.
