Winchester Optical has been helping people better their vision in Winchester and throughout Massachusetts since 1958.

​​​​​​​Peg and Art Deering founded our optical shop with a single goal, to help guide people to their optimal vision. Now the third generation Deering, Dr. Joseph Deering, holds true to their original goal today.

Winchester Optical strives to provide the best in eye care and has always strived to stand out and be fiercely independent.  Continuing that tradition we do not participate in vision plans, have only independent frame and lens partners and are open to anything that can help our patients.  As this type of service and experience becomes harder to find the need for this experience is growing and we need help to continue to provide amazing care to as many people as possible.

Located in Winchester, MA we are within a few miles of downtown Boston, but have a small town, main street clientele that we have been able to serve over multiple generations.
