Dr. Amin and her husband and general manager, Mitesh Amin opened TRIO Eyecare in February 2019. They have been married for three years and have three boys, Dyllan, Pavan, and Shiv. Dr. Amin enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and dog, Zoey. She also enjoys exercising, baking, reading, and attending cultural events in the community. Dr. Amin is fluent in Spanish, Gujarati, and conversational in Hindi.

Dr. Amin believes in giving back to the community and participates in several community, hospital, and school screenings. She has also been recognized for her service in the LHCR Underserved Diabetes Project. Dr. Amin is a proud member of the Optometry Association of LA, The New Orleans Contacts Lens Society, The American Optometric Association, and Vision Source.

Dr. Amin’s passion to serve the community and bring awareness to the population about Dry Eye Disease has driven her to travel all over the country to study and learn from experts in the industry. The Dry Eye Connection is a program to help diagnose and treat dry eye disease on an individual basis. Dr. Amin uses state of the art equipment and tailors treatment accordingly.

Although the focus of TRIO Eyecare is mainly Dry Eye care, the clinic also serves the community as a whole, from family eyecare to emergency office visits. We are proud of our patient reviews and hope to continue to provide excellent patient care for years to come!
