We are seeking to hire an enthusiastic Optometrist to join our team to perform full scope patient care on a part-time basis. Our ideal candidate will provide high-quality vision care and take the time to educate our patients. We are looking for a team player that is personable and has strong communication skills.

• The position consists of 2 days per week. Weekday hours (10:00 AM – 6:30 PM) and Saturdays (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
• Experienced support staff is available for pretesting, optical and billing.
• Our office has an OCT, Fundus photography, Octopus visual field and Topography available.
• Experience with contact lenses, myopia management, glaucoma and diabetic treatment/management is preferred.

Your regular duties will include:

• Perform comprehensive eye exams
• Prescribe spectacle lenses
• Prescribe and fit contact lenses
• Diagnose and treat ocular disease
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
• Maintain detailed patient records using EHR

Requirements:

Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
Valid CA state license to practice optometry
