About me

Dr. Dat Bui is a comprehensive optometrist with emphasis on primary vision care, contact lens fitting, ocular diseases, pediatric eye care, LASIK and cataract surgery co-management.

Raised in the beautiful Bay Area of California, Dr. Bui received his B.S degree in Psychobiology and a minor in Neuroscience from the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA). He earned his doctorate of optometry degree from the prestigious Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton. During his optometric education, Dr. Bui completed externships at the Southern Arizona Veteran Affairs Hospital in Tucson, Arizona, Indian Health Service Hospital in Crownpoint, New Mexico, Wellish Laser and Surgery Center in Las Vegas, Nevada and University Eye Clinic in Fullerton, California.

He is an active member of the California Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.
In his spare time, Dr. Bui likes to do volunteer work and enjoys UCLA football, snowboarding, camping and hiking.
